Home/Mass Save

The Mass Save program, explained simply

Mass Save is Massachusetts' statewide energy efficiency and electrification initiative, led by a collaborative of Berkshire Gas, Cape Light Compact, Eversource, Liberty, National Grid, and Unitil. The Sponsors of Mass Save fund incentives that cover a large share, sometimes all, of home energy upgrades. Souzet is a participating contractor: we do the work, and we handle the program steps for you.

Discover your rebate path

Every home is different. The assessment is how you find out exactly which incentives your household qualifies for, and how far they go.

1

Schedule your no-cost Home Energy Assessment

An Energy Specialist walks through your home, attic to basement, checking insulation, air leaks, and your heating and hot water equipment. It takes about 60 to 90 minutes.

2

Receive your report and rebate path

You get a written report with each recommended upgrade, its estimated cost, and the exact incentive applied. It also shows which path fits your household: standard rebates or the fully managed Turnkey path.

3

Approve, and we do the work

Sign your agreement and we take it from there: scheduling, installation to program standards, and all the rebate paperwork. On many projects the incentive covers the full cost of air sealing and insulation.

What's inside your report

  • Every recommended upgrade priced out: estimated cost, incentive applied, and your final cost
  • Health and safety findings, like knob-and-tube wiring or combustion safety, with the incentives that help resolve them
  • A step-by-step decarbonization roadmap, from weatherization to heat pumps, in the order that maximizes results
  • Financing options, including the 0% HEAT Loan for qualifying upgrades and barrier remediation
